There has been no change in philosophy here, and after airing for almost two weeks in theaters only, Marvel puts the Doomsday trailers online. They first did that with its Steve Rogers spot, it has now done so with an official rendition of the Thor trailer, which, of course, leaked two weeks ago. Here’s the high-quality, not-pirated one:
Avengers: Doomsday is one of the most anticipated movies of 2026, and fans should pre-game with superhero movies like X-Men and Thunderbolts*.
The first trailer focused on Steve Rogers, marking the first official confirmation that Chris Evans would reprise that role in the film. The footage showed Evans as Steve arriving to the home he shares with Peggy Carter, as seen at the end of "Avengers: Endgame," and holding a baby.
Today, Marvel has released the X-Men-focused spot for Avengers: Doomsday, having previously announced a number of FOX-era X-Men were returning for the film in some capacity, given that we’re spanning the multiverse here. You can check out the new trailer below:

Chris Hemsworth is set to reprise his role as Thor in upcoming Marvel movie, Avengers: Doomsday. The film will be released on December 18, 2026.
