A locked storage box was torn from the trunk of a federal vehicle during anti-ICE protests following an ICE-involved shooting in north Minneapolis Wednesday evening.

U.S. federal immigration officers shot and killed a man Saturday in Minneapolis, drawing hundreds of protesters in a city already shaken by another fatal shooting weeks earlier.

Walz, a Democrat, said in a social media post that he had been in contact with the White House after the shooting.
