Ravens running back Derrick Henry rushes for over 200 yards and four touchdowns to help deal the Packers a third consecutive loss.
If the Steelers win, the Ravens are eliminated from playoff contention. If the Browns pull off the upset, next week’s Ravens-Steelers game will be for the AFC North crown. At least, the Ravens have forced the Steelers to win it outright.
Two-time NFL rushing champ and former 2,000-yard rusher Derrick Henry pounded his way to 216 yards and four touchdowns on a career-high 36 attempts. It was the seventh 200-yard game of his career (first since 2022) and second four-TD game for the 31-year-old.
The Packers will play the Vikings at noon on Sunday, Jan. 4, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the second matchup between the two teams this season. It's the Packers' first Sunday noon game since their Week 12 win over the Vikings on Nov. 23 at Lambeau Field.
The loss puts the Packers (9-5-1) 1 1/2 games behind the Bears (11-4) in the NFC North with two games to play. The Packers still hold the final spot in the NFC playoffs with two games remaining. If the current postseason standings hold, the Packers would open the playoffs against the Bears at Soldier Field.
The Green Bay Packers had three players absent during their Jan. 1 practice, while ex-Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs made his debut.
CHICAGO – The Packers allowed the Bears to pull off the mother of all comebacks, as Chicago rallied from 10 points down in the final five minutes of regulation, and then won on a long TD pass in overtime, 22-16, Saturday night at Soldier Field.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love will enter next week’s NFC wild-card playoffs without having played in almost three full games.
