We recently put out a video where Jeanette made a scrappy pineapple block using the Pineapple Trim Tool (a new Jeanette favourite!). However, a few of our lovely subscribers asked if we could show you how to make a pineapple block without using the trim tool, so we've just uploaded a video taking you through the process using a ruler and rotary cutter. All the strips are pre-cut to 1.5inches and the centre square is 2.5inches. Watch the video in full on our YouTube channel. #sewing #TheSewingStu

Jeanette has renovated her ottoman cover….the same one she made recently. She found that when she put it on the ottoman the top of jeans didn’t sit as she’d anticipated. She decided on putting patchwork on the sides at the top of the ottoman and then using the top parts of the jeans for the base of the ottoman.
