This could be why your baby is restless⬇️ Newborns have two sleep stages until about 3-4 months. They spend up to 75% of their sleep time in active sleep. When they transition into active sleep it is very restless looking. They don’t experience sleep paralysis like we do in light sleep, so they wiggle, squirm, call out and look gassy actually. But… they are sleeping. Sometimes it wakes them and they need help falling back sleep. This is why newborns sleep better when they are held. They can tran
